These Columbus homeowners were looking for a new two-story porch that was consistent with the unique, historical architecture of their Victorian home.

BEFORE

The initial plan for this project was to restore the existing single-story porch. However, after a few conversations, it was evident that the best course of action was to tear it off and start from scratch. This allowed us to fully execute the vision these clients had for their home.

Plans & renderings

Staying true to the historical architecture was the highest priority for these clients and a real driving force for the aesthetic vision. Exhaustive research was conducted to ensure the color panels, spindles and columns were temporally accurate before making any decisions.

The intricate spindles and columns had to be hand painted in order to achieve the level of detail we were striving for.
