This client was looking to transform their previously outdated Powell bathroom into something bright, airy and a space that looks like you’ve entered a spa.
Project Completed: 2022
The original bathroom felt like it was stuck in the mid 90’s. It included a massive tub deck, no real vanity storage, leaving the owners to use a cart, and crowding the counter space with their essentials. This bathroom also had large French doors, which didn’t make much sense in this bathroom, as well as a smaller stand alone shower.
In order to achieve the spa-like design, we gave these clients a tub that is much more pleasing to look at, book-matched tile slabs in the shower and all along the back wall of the bathroom. A larger walk-in shower with an invisible drain. We also removed the double French Doors and replaced them with a soft closing pocket door. We added a floating vanity, that has deep drawers, so the clients are able to hold all of their belongings in the vanity. Two Vessel sinks with unique faucets really tied the whole bathroom together. And of course, knurled texture on almost every type of fixture in the bathroom.
