The goal of this Westerville project was to remodel the entire cabin-like home into a modern, woodland oasis.

BEFORE

Upon first glance this home appeared to be quite spacious, but when we began our designs, the available square footage was much less than we anticipated. In order to meet our client’s needs we made several structural changes to the home which proved difficult due to how it had been built.

PLANs & rENDERINGS

One of the biggest challenges of this Woodland Oasis was the owner’s suite. The space originally had no door to the bedroom or bathroom, a large jacuzzi tub in the center of the room and a fully exposed shower – not to mention a full wall of windows. Our first course of action was to eliminate the enormous tub to make room for a new staircase to the third-floor loft. We also enclosed the shower. relocated the toilet room and utilized an existing beam to add a barn door to separate the bedroom and bathroom.
