This Powell remodel combined the original kitchen with the under-utilized dining room to create one cohesive kitchen & dining space.  The client’s wish list included a large island with seating for five, extra storage, and a beverage/serving area.

BEFORE

The clients knew they wanted to stay in their home long-term and wanted to create a space that fit their families’ wants & needs. The original island did not include any seating and the kitchen lacked the function and storage the family required.

Plans & renderings

The opening of the dining room on the back of the original kitchen provided optimal space for the larger island, storage, and beverage area.  The tray ceiling was painted a deep charcoal grey to create depth and take this remodel to another level.
