This home’s kitchen had good bones but felt stuck in time—with a dated layout, heavy finishes, and limited connection to the rest of the living space. While functional, it no longer fit the needs of the homeowners, who craved a lighter, more open atmosphere that better reflected their style and supported everyday family life.

These clients wanted a layout that felt more open, updated, and functional. We started by removing the bulk soffits and outdated lighting to instantly lift and brighten the space.

By reworking the cabinetry and island footprint, we were able to give them a larger prep and serving area that comfortably seats three. We also incorporated floating shelves and a custom wood hood to add warmth and style, while the rich green cabinets brought in the bold personality they were hoping for. Every design choice was made to create a kitchen that feels just as inviting for everyday use as it does for hosting friends and family.
