Warm and Inviting Mudroom and Bathroom
These clients were looking to transform the 30-year dated addition on their 1837 home in Groveport where the laundry and mud room, as well as a bathroom, are held.

BEFORE
The original mud/laundry room was starting to see a lot of wear and tear. The cabinets were coming off the wall, and the space even though white, felt dark and dated. The bathroom also felt dated, and the homeowners wanted to get rid of the tub to make room for a larger walk-in shower, as well as two separate vanities.
PLANS & RENDERINGS
In order to achieve these clients wants and needs, of more storage, and a brighter space, in the laundry/mud room we removed the cabinets that were above the washer and dryer and added open shelving. We also gave our clients a countertop space on top of the washer and dryer, so folding clothes was easier to do. In the bathroom we removed the partition wall and moved the toilet to its own separate room, by doing this it allowed us to add the two separate vanities that these clients were looking for which also allowed for more storage space. We also removed the tub, to give the clients a larger walk-in shower.
