These clients in Dublin weren’t interested in a traditional wine cellar. They had bottles they were looking to store, but it was more important for them to have space to enjoy with their friends without being surrounded by bottles.

These clients weren’t interested in a traditional wine cellar. They had bottles they were looking to store, but it was more important for them to have space to enjoy with their friends without being surrounded by bottles. The basement was already finished with a full kitchenette & TV area that these homeowners didn’t want to touch. Instead, they wanted to utilize some of the unfinished portion of their basement to create this adults-only lounge. The area that worked best was also where the electrical panels and the stairs were located, which required us to be strategic with our designs.

Our clients wanted us to create a space that made them feel like they had been transported to a French vineyard—without the long plane ride. We designed a space that felt like it was straight out of a Medieval French Chateau, with room, for plush seating and wine storage that was behind closed doors.
