This home in Upper Arlington was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, made up of an original 1920s built structure and two separate room additions that were completed at different times.

BEFORE

This home had two pre-existing additions that had been done at separate times, with a deck in between. The lack of cohesion and poor layout created daily headaches for this busy family. These homeowners wanted to bridge the gap between these two spaces and create a kitchen, dining room, mudroom & powder room designed with entertaining and family in mind.

Plans & renderings

To gain the most functionality out of the home, a small addition of just under 170 square feet was fit in between the two existing additions. This allowed for the larger, more open entertaining and living space they desired.
